The Reverend Isaac Holt Jr., Pastor of Royal Missionary Baptist Church Of North Charleston is a native Alabamian. A veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of our very own Morris College in Sumter South Carolina. Reverend Holt was licensed to preach in 1986 while serving active duty in Washington, DC at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church located in Alexandria, Va. In 1987 a military duty transfer brought him to Charleston, there he united with The Morris Street Baptist Church. In 1992 under the recommendation of his pastor, the late Rev. Dr. A.R. Blake, he received his ministerial ordination.
Reverend Holt is a certificate graduate of the Morris College School of Religious Studies 3-year program.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management also from Morris College in Sumter, SC graduating cum laude. In addition he has also completed additional studies at Alabama A&M University in Huntsville Alabama and is graduate of the Navy's School of Advanced Electronics.
Reverend Holt stay active in civic and community organization serving on numerous civic and non-profit advisory boards in the Charleston tri-county area. He has for the last six years served as the Faith-Community Drive Chairperson for the United Negro College Fund. He has served as instructor for the State and local sessions of the Baptist Congress of Christian Education and currently serves as Executive Board Chairman of the Charleston County Missionary Baptist Association. He is member of the South Carolina Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention where he serves as Regional Vice-President for Region I.
He is in high demand for speaking, preaching and revivals.

It was in March of 1993 our speaker was called by the congregation of Royal Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, SC, to serve as their pastor. Under his leadership as pastor, God has prospered the Royal Baptist Church greatly, growing in membership from 200 members in 1993 to over two thousand members today. Under his leadership the church has added 26 new ministries, including community food and clothing banks, serving over 100 families per month, a prison ministry with pre- and post- release programs, a tutorial after school program, a scholarship Fund, the establishment of the Royal Foundation a separate 501C (3) non-profit organization for community economic recovery. Under his leadership Royal Baptist Church in 2005 constructed a $3.3 million worship center complex and in 2008 burned the mortgage on it. God has blessed his gifts, and continues to lift and open doors for this ministry to grow.
He is married to the former Jannie Singleton of Charleston and they have one son, Isaac III and presently reside in North Charleston, SC.
