Rev. Sylvester Jackson, VP - Region 3

Rev. Sylvester Jackson, native of Greenville, South Carolina. He is the 9th out of 10 children.

Pastor the Little River Missionary Baptist Church of Ware Shoals, S.C. since December 1995. He is the founder of Stepping Stones Ministries, a Christian academic school for children; three months to the eighth grade. Stepping Stones Ministries is an affiliated ministry of the Little River Missionary Baptist Church.

Moderator of the Little River Missionary Baptist Association.

Graduate of the University of South Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina. Further studies at the American Baptist Theological Seminary Greenville Campus of Greenville, South Carolina.

Serves as Medical Relations Officer for the Disability Determination Services (evaluation of disability applications) for the Social Security Administration.

Rev. Jackson has served as a Christian Educator during Congress Sessions on both the local and State level.

Rev. Sylvester Jackson recently led the Little River Missionary Baptist Association in the construction of a new 5-million dollar complex. The Little River Multicultural Complex completed in January 2008 is complete with a gymtorium, administration offices, educational classroom and a dining hall that serves dinner every Sunday.

Rev. Jackson is truly passionate in his life's ministry to lead the unsaved to Christ. His goals are simply described in this passage of scripture… "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" ~ Ephesians 4:11-13 (NKJV)
